Sailboards, jet skis, kayaks, houseboats, and sailboats can be rented from one of the local rental facilities. Lessons are also available for those interested in trying something new.

Airborne ExcitementAdventurous sightseers discover the landscape of Penticton is just as beautiful from the air as it is from the ground. Board a helicopter or floatplane for a bird's eye view of the city. Or take a parasail ride and gain a whole new perspective from high above the lake.

Penticton ParasailNo experience necessary. No running, no jumping, no waterskiing, no beach starts...Customize your flight.  Fly low - fly high! Get wet or stay dry!

Float the River Channel: Want to try something unique? Take a leisurely float down the river channel. The Penticton River Channel is a six-kilometre canal that connects the two lakes, and becomes a colourful array of swimsuits and floatation devices on any sunny summer day. Begin your lazy afternoon in the sun just south of Riverside Park near the S.S. Sicamous on Okanagan Lake and let the current carry you to the entrance of Skaha Lake. Depending on the speed of the current, the ride can take up to three hours, so don't forget the sunscreen.
