Our Master and Commander, David is a visionary. His out-of-the-box thinking, keeps everybody on their toes, staff and community alike. David learned all about the Hospitality Industry at his father’s knee and returned to the family business after a career in law enforcement. An astute businessman, David has mastered the art of balancing the bottom-line with an exceptional customer experience.

Working to maximize revenue through different mediums at the Resort is an exciting driver for Brannigan. With the Resort ever evolving, there’s not a day that’s stand still or the same. Planning In-house events, a variety of marketing initiatives, sponsorship creation with community groups and coordinating with guests to execute their vision, are a few things that keep her excited about the job.

Jamie epitomizes the classic story of “working up through the ranks” as he started his career at the Resort as a Busser in the Barking Parrot. His comprehension of food and beverage in the hospitality industry is amazing – especially in such an ever-changing field. He is always up to the challenge to provide a great customer experience.

Managing Penticton’s Hot Spot, Brandon is always up-to-date with the latest and craziest of entertainment, sports, and parties at the Barking Parrot! For ten years he has had his finger on the pulse for events in Penticton and hosts a ton of successful charitable events. Having worked his way up through the ranks, Brandon and his team are always on the edge of what’s happening in the South Okanagan.

Chris Remington

Chef Chris Remington spent many years travelling the world to expand his knowledge in ethnic foods and culinary practices so he has a well rounded approach when it comes to preparing menus and dishes. From these experiences his passion for exploring the use of local ingredients has grown. Using our Valley View Farm and herb garden has allowed him to take this passion to the next level and produce dishes that are inspired by the Okanagan’s very own backyard.

Basically all products and materials brought in to ensure the Resort runs smoothly is part of Aaron’s job. In addition he is our de facto IT go to. Aaron recently celebrated his 30th year with the Penticton Lakeside Resort.

Anne started work at the Resort at the end of 1982, the year the Resort opened! She oversees all the accounting on site including a payroll that doubles in sun season. Anne’s attention for detail and good business practices keeps all the pieces together in an orderly fashion. We won’t talk about her whistling…

In a 273 guestrooms/suites Hotel plus restaurants, bars and a conference centre, the Housekeeping Department is a buzzing hive of activity. Always working to daily sensitive deadlines, Nancy leads her Housekeeping staff and pulls off some amazing feats of remarkable balancing for our guests and patrons of the Resort. She may be small in stature, but she’s a mighty powerhouse of an Executive Housekeeper!

Born and raised in Penticton, Pam enjoys sharing the “Penticton Experience” with others. 30 years experience in the industry helps her taylor-fit accommodations to the needs of the individual, ensuring that our guests’ experience at the Resort is just what they are looking for.

With over 25 years experience in hotels and restaurants, Rick has become versatile in many different styles of cooking. The “little extras” that enhance a guests experience that much more are what adds an extra splash of enjoyment to his job. To him, respecting and understanding what a guest requires to make them happy, is most important in the service industry.

Steve Lloyd

Maintenance Manager


Over the last 20+ years, Steve has learned the intimate workings of every square inch of our Resort. His accomplished understanding of all the trades, has helped him oversee the huge 2000 renovation, the 2004 geo-thermal installation, the construction of the Hooded Merganser and the Marina, and multiple other projects. He now faces the challenge of our new 70 room tower. Steve’s grasp of the inner complexities of the Resort allows everybody to rest easy while he and his staff work at getting the jobs done.
